About the training program

The program is implemented within the direction 54.04.04 "Restoration". The training period is 2 years. The educational program was opened by order of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin to provide the Kaliningrad region with qualified personnel in the field of restoration of historical and cultural heritage sites. The curriculum involves three educational applied tracks: training in the restoration of stone, metal, and wooden objects; in addition, the program includes an academic module within which master's students become acquainted with the history, culture, and archaeology of the region.

What do graduates do?

A certified restorer can work in museums, archives, or repositories of cultural funds, architectural bureaus, as well as in state and private restoration workshops and antique salons.
