About the training program
The program is implemented within the direction 47.04.01 “Philosophy”. The duration of study is 2 years. A master's degree is dedicated to immersion in the foundations of philosophy. Something acquires the status of classical when it becomes a standard, measure, and model for all subsequent development. This happens in art, architecture, philology. The classical tradition in philosophy begins with antiquity. It is here that such questions are asked, the answers to which many generations of philosophers will seek. These are questions about the world, man, society, about human cognitive abilities and their peculiarities.
What do graduates do?
Our program provides an opportunity to work as a teacher in both school and university, to organize project and scientific activities in the field of humanities research, primarily related to the history of philosophy and culture, to participate in the activities of various social projects and coordinate them. A graduate of our program will become the owner of an important skill — the ability to analyze, compare, and critically interpret voluminous texts dedicated to complex issues of cognition, personality, ethics, and politics. Preparation in the field of historical development and dissemination of ideas will allow for the analysis of modern social and general humanitarian problems.
