About the training program
The area of professional activity of bachelors includes research and implementation of methodology for ensuring the safety of technological processes and production of the fuel and energy complex. The training of high-level specialists is ensured by: • an interactive and dynamic learning environment; • access to a modern knowledge base and the latest achievements in the industry; • the experience of practicing highly qualified specialists of the faculty of the department; • productive interaction of the department with domestic and international oil and gas companies; • a variety of practices.
What do graduates do?
Upon completion of their studies at the department, graduates work in leading oil and gas companies, in production, in design and research institutes, in supervisory and management structures, in insurance companies—both in Russia and abroad. Positions for which a graduate can apply: • in the implementation of scientific research activities: research engineer, research associate; teacher; • in the implementation of project activities: design engineer; expert; • in the implementation of organizational and management activities: team management (head of the industrial safety, labor protection, and environmental protection department, etc.)
