About the training program

The Applied Mechanics program at SUSU trains versatile design engineers who can work in aviation, astronautics, energy, and robotics. The department’s uniqueness lies in its participation in developing strength standards for nuclear reactors and in structural analysis under extreme temperatures. Over 4 years, you will master 3D modeling, engineering analysis, programming, and work with Instron and Siemens testing equipment as well as supercomputers. Your mentors are leading scientists. Graduates are in demand at Russia’s leading enterprises. The program is taught in Russian. It is available for admission under the Government of the Russian Federation quota.

What will they teach you?

  • Владение передовыми пакетами расчета динамики и прочности машин и конструкций: ANSYS Workbench; «Универсальный Механизм», «Логос»
  • Владение современными пакетами 3D моделирования: SOLIDWORKS; КОМПАС-3D
  • Умение выполнять расчеты на прочность элементов атомных реакторов, самолетов, ракет, спутников, бронежилетов, газотурбинных установок, легковых и грузовых автомобилей и гусеничных машин.
  • Умение работать в одной команде с конструкторами и технологами предприятия
  • Умение обеспечивать прочность, надежность и долговечность продукции предприятия
