About the training program
The program is aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the fields of: engineering geology, geology, and geochemistry of oil and gas. The program takes into account current directions for mastering a complex of methods, technologies, and technical means for forecasting, searching, and exploring hydrocarbon deposits; as well as engineering geology. The main types of professional activities for which the program prepares are: research, production, organizational and managerial. Leading teachers and experts involved in the training prepare students for professional activities in the geological exploration industry.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work as geologists, geophysicists, oil geologists, geological engineers, hydrogeologists, and geotechnical engineers. An oil geologist can work in production and scientific-technical departments of geological exploration and extraction companies engaged in production, consulting, and engineering activities. An engineer-geologist-hydrogeologist can work in production and scientific-technical departments of companies engaged in production engineering activities.
