The Rector
For ten years now, we have been purposefully developing cooperation in the field of education with many countries around the world. Thus, this year alone, more than two thousand foreign students have been accepted to study at Altai State University. For Russia today, cooperation with foreign countries, especially in the Asian direction, is very important, as these are our long-standing friends and partners with whom we implement a significant number of scientific and educational projects.
About the University
Altai State University is one of the leading universities in Russia, oriented towards international interaction primarily with the states of Central Asia. The university is in the top 1000 of the global QS ranking, is a member of the network University of the SCO and the Association of Asian Universities. More than two thousand foreign students are already studying at the university, and 23 network international educational programs with foreign universities are successfully being implemented. The direction of extracurricular activities is very developed at AltSU. Students engage in sports, attend theater, dance, vocal, and media sections, communicate and exchange experiences.

Security Information Laboratory
The laboratory is intended for students studying IT specialties. The unique material and technical equipment of the laboratory allows mastering all professional disciplines in IT.
Media Community MediaHub
MediaHub is an association of active students and teachers who create media projects together. MediaHub includes 2 photo and video studios, a podcasting studio, and a fully equipped Jalinga smart video studio.
VR lab
The laboratory for developing IT solutions allows the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in education, conducting scientific research, and applying breakthrough technologies to increase production efficiency.
60+ educational programs
AltGU is 9 institutes, a college, and a vibrant life. Here, students from different countries have access to modern education in Russian. Today, foreign students at the university are rapidly developing their science, realizing their dreams, and receiving invitations to work in prestigious Russian companies.
