About the training program
Power electronics is one of the most science-intensive areas of technology; successful engineering activity in this field implies mastery of electronics and electrical engineering, electro- and magnetodynamics, and thermal engineering. The creation of modern conversion devices is impossible without the use of automated design systems and mathematical packages. Modern power electronics is becoming interdisciplinary, covering the element base: semiconductor devices (diodes, transistors, thyristors, integrated circuits), converters of electrical energy parameters (rectifiers, inverters, frequency converters), electrical and electromechanical systems.
