About the training program

For the first time in 2023, Vyatka State University offers a unique master's program "Chemistry of Functional Materials" in which we tried to combine the best competencies of our teachers. During the master's program, students will be able to vary their educational trajectory and, depending on personal preferences, choose a specialization among advanced topics in polymeric materials or inorganic materials or metals and alloys.

What will they teach you?

  • competencies in the field of mathematical modeling, physical and chemical methods for analyzing substances and materials
  • methods for processing experimental results, as well as innovative processes for recycling waste generated during the production of materials and products from them
  • the program includes educational practice, research practice, pre-diploma practice, which will be held under the guidance of the best teachers and include personal consultations from leading professor
  • The training ends with the writing and defense of the final qualifying work on the chosen topic and the receipt of a diploma with the qualification of a state-recognised master

What do graduates do?

Graduates will be able to work as materials engineers, product designers, researchers in the development of new materials, researchers in the study of the composition and properties of various materials, including in the field of reengineering.
