About the training program
The program is aimed at training specialists in the development, research, and operation of automated control systems (ACS) in thermal energy and thermal engineering. Students master the principles of building ACS, their technical base, mathematical and information support. Training includes practices for developing professional competencies. Graduates are ready to work at thermal and nuclear power plants, in engineering and production companies, research and educational organizations — in the areas of design, maintenance, testing, and adjustment of automation systems for thermal power facilities.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work in education and science, the IT sector, construction and housing and communal services (design and operation of thermal power facilities), the oil and gas industry (regulation of raw material flows, operation of equipment), power engineering, nuclear, rocket and space, and aviation industries (design of energy and thermal engineering systems), metallurgy, and mechanical engineering. They are also employed at thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, distributed and small-scale energy facilities, in municipal services, and at industrial enterprises — in the fields of operation of thermal engineering equipment, water treatment, and process automation.
