About the training program
The program is aimed at training specialists in the field of electric power. The training includes the study of the physical foundations of the functioning and modeling of electric power systems, their modes. Students master system design, selection of power equipment parameters, automatic control systems, and relay protection and automation devices, as well as issues of object isolation and lightning protection. Training takes place in specialized classrooms and modern laboratories.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work in the power industry: at thermal, nuclear, and renewable energy power plants, in grid companies and dispatch centers — managing energy systems and operating electrical networks. They are involved in the design of networks and substations, diagnostics of power equipment (transformers, generators, transmission lines, distribution devices). In demand in organizations for relay protection and automation, lightning protection and isolation of high-voltage equipment, as well as in research and design institutes of the industry.
