About the training program

The program prepares specialists in the design and technology of manufacturing robotic complexes, control systems, hydraulic machines, and drives for land, sea, and air-based equipment (including special purpose). Students master the work with software computing complexes (including domestic development) and apply neural network methods to create elements of artificial intelligence. Graduates work in machine-building design bureaus — developing pumping equipment for thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, reclamation systems, and various industries, as well as designing and operating hydromechanical equipment for hydroelectric and gas-fired power plants.

What do graduates do?

Graduates work: in the production of machines and equipment (design of energy equipment); in the electric power industry (energy engineering); in the nuclear industry (development and operation of thermomechanical and heat exchange equipment); in the oil and gas industry (creation and maintenance of equipment for gas transportation systems). They are also employed in the field of science and education. They are engaged in hydraulic turbines, pumps, gas and steam turbine installations, heat exchangers, automation systems, auxiliary equipment of energy facilities, as well as diagnostics and repair of energy equipment.
