About the training program

The program is aimed at training engineers to solve the tasks of designing and operating equipment for plasma, fusion, and hybrid reactors and installations. The training involves experienced specialists and is based on working with a unique research infrastructure. Within the framework of the program, students master engineering approaches to the design and maintenance of specialized installations, perform practical tasks and graduation works on a modern experimental basis, and deepen their professional competencies through applied industry tasks.

What will they teach you?

What do graduates do?

Graduates work in research centers and laboratories where they conduct experiments with plasma and thermonuclear installations. They are in demand at specialized enterprises — they design and construct equipment for reactors, in engineering and design bureaus — they develop and modernize systems. They are involved in experimental sites (testing and setting up equipment) and in operating organizations, where they ensure reliable operation of installations, perform maintenance and diagnostics.
