About the training program
The program is designed to train specialists in heat power engineering, thermal engineering, and advanced energy technologies. The training covers the design, modeling, operation, and modernization of thermal power plants, industrial heat and power systems, and autonomous energy installations, including hydrogen and electrochemical energy systems. Students learn digital design, information modeling, thermal process control, the development of water treatment, water purification, and fuel supply systems, as well as methods for improving energy efficiency and managing innovative projects.
What do graduates do?
Graduates are in demand in the electric power industry, nuclear sector, oil and gas sector, mechanical engineering, construction and housing and utilities, as well as in energy companies, thermal power plants, industrial enterprises, and design and engineering organizations. The main areas of activity include the design, operation, and modernization of thermal power systems and equipment; the development of autonomous and hydrogen energy installations; the implementation of digital technologies; and improving energy efficiency. Graduates may also develop water treatment and fuel supply technology complexes, conduct research, and manage innovative projects.
