About the training program

The program is designed to train specialists in the design, research, operation, and modernization of electric power systems and electrical equipment. The curriculum covers electricity generation, transmission, and distribution; power system operation management; relay protection and automation; high-voltage technology; electrical machines; and electric drives. Students acquire skills in mathematical and computer modeling, digital control technologies, the development of electrical materials and equipment, the integration of renewable energy sources, and methods for improving the reliability, safety, and energy efficiency of power facilities.

What will they teach you?

What do graduates do?

Graduates are in demand in the electric power industry, the electrical engineering sector, the transport sector, mechanical engineering, nuclear and renewable energy, as well as design and research organizations. They work on the design, operation, and modernization of power grids, substations, power supply systems, and high-voltage equipment, and develop electrical machines, electric drives, and automation systems. Specialists also work with relay protection, equipment diagnostics, and digital modeling, implementing solutions to improve the reliability, safety, and energy efficiency of power supply.
