About the training program
Training in the specialty "Agronomy" is aimed at studying scientific and practical aspects of increasing the efficiency of agricultural crop production, crop production, soil science, plant protection, water resource management, and the application of modern agrotechnologies.
What do graduates do?
Graduates can work as agrogeneticists, agrometeorologists, agrochemists, agronomists, botanists, grape growers, vegetable growers and plant breeders, breeders, ecologists, and agricultural production masters. Employment is possible at agricultural enterprises, specialized floriculture, horticulture, and vegetable farms, agro-industrial complexes, research institutes working on the breeding of elite seeds, in state services for plant protection and quarantine, in design and survey institutes dealing with land management issues, and at enterprises producing plant protection products.
