Theoretical Foundations of Informatics – a specialty that includes research on the processes of creating, accumulating, and processing information, research on methods of converting information into data and knowledge, creation and research of information models, methods of working with knowledge, methods of machine learning and discovering new knowledge, research on the principles of creating and operating hardware and software tools for automating the specified processes.
