About the training program
The program is aimed at training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the field of theory and methodology of teaching and upbringing in biology. The educational process is built on individual consultations taking into account the topic of the graduate student's dissertation. Key disciplines include the history and philosophy of science (with an emphasis on the history of biology and the methodology of scientific knowledge), a foreign language (for working with scientific literature and preparing publications), and the special discipline Theory and Methodology of Teaching and Education (biology), covering the methodology of teaching biology and the problem of developing the cognitive interest of students.
