About the training program
The Biotechnology program (Molecular Biology profile) at the Faculty of ЕГиТ trains specialists at the intersection of biology and technology. Graduates work in research centers, the pharmaceutical industry, agriculture, the food industry, and environmental science: they develop vaccines, edit genomes, and create biodegradable materials and biopharmaceuticals. They are in demand in laboratories, institutes, manufacturing facilities, and expert organizations. At Pushkin Leningrad State University, theory is reinforced by practice: classes are held in the Research Laboratory of Cellular Biotechnology, as well as at leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, medical centers, and institutes.
