About the training program
The Faculty of Natural Sciences, Geography and Tourism at Pushkin Leningrad State University is launching a bachelor’s degree program 44.03.01 “Pedagogical Education,” specializing in Chemistry. Chemistry teachers are in demand in schools, government authorities, research institutes, laboratories, industry, and quality control centers. The program includes lectures, practical classes in chemistry and biotechnology laboratories, as well as teaching practice. Over four years, students can undergo retraining and obtain a second profession—as a biology teacher or chemist. Graduates can continue their studies in master’s programs in pedagogical education (geography, biology), biotechnology, or ecology. The program combines natural sciences with psychology and teaching methodology.
