About the training program
Admission to the Speech Therapy profile (special defectology education) is an opportunity to become an in-demand specialist working with people who have speech disorders. The profile provides the knowledge and skills needed to work in educational and medical organizations, as well as to pursue a master’s degree. A teacher-speech therapist takes part in psychological, medical and educational commissions, supports students with special educational needs, identifies their educational needs, and develops adapted educational programs and a correctional and developmental environment. Practical training takes place in schools and medical institutions. Students conduct research and participate in conferences, competitions and academic olympiads.
