About the training program
The educational program prepares bachelor's-level journalism professionals. Students study the theory and practice of the profession, the history of Russian and international journalism and literature, media audiences, ethical, economic and legal aspects, editorial work, as well as audio, video and internet technologies. Faculty members have professional media experience, and some courses are taught by practicing journalists. Practical training is combined with academic disciplines to develop the competencies needed to work in print media, television, radio and multimedia media. Graduates are well prepared for successful professional careers in today’s media industry.
