About the training program
Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin offers a Museology program to train specialists in heritage preservation. The focus is on guided tours and exhibition development and presentation. Students learn to determine the authenticity and authorship of artworks, conduct engaging tours for visitors of all ages, protect exhibits from deterioration, and create blockbuster exhibitions. The program involves university professors and invited specialists from museums in Pushkin and Saint Petersburg. Practical training takes place in museums: students explore collections, work in storage facilities, and try their hand as museum designers.
