About the training program
The Master’s program “Russian as a Foreign Language” trains specialists in modern methods of teaching Russian to foreigners. Graduates acquire theoretical knowledge in the field of Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) and practical skills in developing teaching materials. The program covers the linguocultural foundations of language teaching, the specific features of professional language, language assessment and testing, and the implementation of new technologies. Students undertake teaching placements at several universities in St. Petersburg, enabling them to apply their knowledge in real classroom settings and develop professional competencies in demand in Russia and abroad.
