About the University
TvGTU occupies worthy positions in international rankings: Round University Ranking (RUR), THE Impact Rankings, THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR), the global aggregated Best-Edu ranking, etc. The university has trained more than 110,000 specialists and scientific workers. Graduates of TVSTU come not only from Russia but also from more than 80 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East region, and the CIS. At TVSTU, students study in 128 directions and profiles, 80% of which are technical areas of training. The university has eight faculties and 4 institutes. The preparatory department for foreign citizens of Tver State Technical University is one of the first federal centers for pre-university training of citizens of foreign countries. The Faculty of International Academic Cooperation of Tver State Technical University is a multi-level educational center that organizes training, academic support, and legal assistance for foreign students, and conducts work on the adaptation and integration of foreign students into the student community.

chemical laboratories
As part of the support for the world-class laboratory project, modern chemical laboratories are equipped at the chemical technology faculty for conducting classes, and there is also a center for the collective use of scientific equipment.
student club
In the student club, classes are held in choreography (Russian folk dances, flamenco, Irish dances, modern dances, contemporary choreography), applied creativity, and there are vocal and theater studios. The halls in the student club are equipped for high-level classes.
Sports club
The sports club includes three game halls, an aerobics hall, a chess tournament hall, and several gyms. One of the game halls is equipped with a climbing wall. One of the sports halls has a license to hold all-Russian sports competitions.
Polygon
A unique space intended not only for educational purposes but also for organizing high-level sports events. One of the key elements of the training ground is a specially prepared track for autocross competitions, where large-scale events are held annually.
Cabinet of Geology
At the Faculty of Civil Engineering, there is a geology room where samples of minerals and building materials are presented, as well as a space for conducting laboratory work with students.

Classrooms are distinguished by a high level of comfort and equipment, creating optimal conditions for a quality educational process. Each classroom is equipped with modern equipment necessary for conducting lectures, seminars, and practical classes.
