About the university
Volgograd State Technical University was founded in 1930 and is among the leaders of technical universities in Russia. About 15,000 students, including about 2,000 foreign citizens, study at the university and its three branches. VolgGTU trains highly qualified specialists for mechanical engineering, chemical, petrochemical, construction, and food industries, metalworking, automobile transport, as well as in the fields of architecture, computer technologies, economics, and management. Over 90 years, VolgGTU has graduated more than 120,000 highly qualified specialists.
