About the training program
The «History and Theory of Politics» programme focuses on the study of the history, theory and methodology of politics; contemporary issues in political epistemology; the causal relationships underlying political phenomena; the characteristics of the main actors in the political process and groups of political objects; theoretical models and practices of the political process; and the conceptual foundations of international relations and world politics. Research within this profile covers the history of global socio-political thought, the history of socio-political thought in Russia, and the theory and methodology of historical and political science research.
