About the training program
The «Russian Language» profile focuses on developing the problems of the theory of modern Russian as a закономерный stage in the historical development of the study of the Russian language, as well as on systematizing the understanding of the academic grammar of Russian and its history. The distinctive feature of this profile is that it is structured as a natural continuation of language theory, namely, as a demonstration of the possibilities of general linguistic theory in its application to specific Russian-language material. Modern principles of language study include integrality, anthropocentrism, text-centeredness, communicativeness, and functionality. Linguistic disciplines that study different levels of the Russian language system.
