About the training program
Students master theoretical and practical courses in the Russian language, Russian and world literature, and study a foreign language to a substantial extent. The program builds experience of working in an international environment: students study languages and cultures and develop intercultural communication skills. A parallel "Translator" program is available. Training includes interactive lectures, seminars, practical classes, master classes, discussions on issues of philology, and analysis of literary works. Participation in research and creative projects, as well as gaining public speaking and rhetorical skills.
What do graduates do?
Graduates work:
- in education (as a teacher of Russian language and literature, a teacher of Russian as a foreign language, a methodologist, a curator of educational and outreach projects, etc.);
- in publishing (as an editor, proofreader, rewriter, publisher, etc.);
- in mass media and advertising (as a copywriter, editor, scientific consultant, correspondent, etc.);
- in the field of culture (as a translator, speechwriter, museum worker, tour guide, cultural studies specialist, etc.).
Other possible professions: marketer, SMM or SEO specialist, digital linguist, linguistic expert in the forensic field, website editor for culture, literature and language, head of social programs, etc.
