About the training program
The main scientific areas of the Biotechnology programme are:
- Synthesis of nanoparticles of silver, gold, selenium, carbon nanotubes, and other elements and compounds for use in medicine, catalysis, and electronics. Study of the physicochemical characteristics of the resulting nanostructures;
- Development, production, and quality control of pharmaceutical forms using nanoparticles based on biologically active substances of plant origin;
- Research into the physiology of cell cultures and the effect of nanoparticles of various types on the proliferation of cell lines;
- Stabilisation of nanodispersions using surfactants, high-molecular-weight compounds, and other substances.
