The aim of the Master's degree programme in “Philosophy,” profile “Knowledge and Values: Transformations in a Changing World,” is to examine how the ways knowledge is produced and value systems are changing in the modern world. The programme combines classical philosophical disciplines with contemporary fields, including epistemology, ethics, social and intercultural philosophy, the philosophy of science and technoscience, and bioethics. Students explore how values influence science, politics, the media, and digital technologies, and master the methods of philosophical analysis and argumentation. An important part of the programme is research and teaching practice, as well as preparation of a master's thesis.
