About the training program
At RUDN University, the Psychology master's program is offered in two tracks. 1. "Psychological Counseling" prepares practicing counselors: students master CBT, Gestalt therapy, narrative practice, and other approaches; learn to build a therapeutic alliance and work with crises, anxiety, conflicts, self-esteem, and relationships. 2. "Integrative Technologies in Practical Psychology" focuses on an inter-method approach: students combine techniques to meet the client's needs. Key areas include psychodiagnostics, group methods, training, coaching, HR and organizational psychology, and business consulting.
What do graduates do?
Graduates of the program can pursue careers in private practice, psychological and crisis centers, educational institutions, the corporate sector and HR, social services and NGOs, medicine and rehabilitation, media, EdTech, and online projects. They can choose from the following professions: counseling psychologist (generalist or with a narrow specialization, such as family, child, or career psychology); clinical psychologist (with the relevant qualifications); corporate psychologist, HR psychologist; psychodiagnostician, trainer, educational program methodologist; psychological support specialist (in support services, the EMERCOM, and call centers); editor/author of popular science psychological content.
