The Hematology residency program is a two-year, full-time training program for physicians who hold a degree in General Medicine or Pediatrics. The aim of the program is to train a qualified hematologist capable of independently managing patients with diseases of the blood system, providing specialized and emergency care, and applying modern diagnostic and therapeutic methods. The key component is clinical practice in hematology departments and oncohematology centers: under the supervision of a clinical mentor, residents manage patients, participate in clinical case conferences, interpret the results of complex examinations, develop skills in performing punctures, and study therapy protocols.
