About the training program
The bachelor's degree educational program “Vietnamese Philology (with the additional qualification of Specialist in Translation)” is aimed at developing students’ systematic understanding of the Vietnamese language, literature, folklore, traditional and contemporary cultures, history, and ethnography of Vietnam, alongside the parallel and comprehensive study of the Vietnamese language.
What do graduates do?
Students have access to unique electronic resources in Russian, Oriental and Western languages, as well as a specialized branch of the M. Gorky Scientific Library. Its collection includes more than 300,000 volumes of scholarly, educational, literary and periodical publications in all the languages of the regions studied, a collection of ancient manuscripts and woodblock prints, and rare and unique books and lithographs.
After completing their studies, students have the opportunity to continue their education in the master's programme at the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
