About the training program
The program is intended for motivated school students with a strong background in mathematics. The educational program was developed במסגרת the «ТОП-ИИ» grant, implemented by the Analytical Center under the Government of the Russian Federation jointly with the Ministry of Digital Development of Russia, with the aim of achieving the outcome «Students are trained in higher education programs for top specialists in the field of artificial intelligence» under the federal project «Artificial Intelligence», which is part of the national project «Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State».
What do graduates do?
Most of the bachelor's graduates enter the master's program of our faculty or foreign universities (France, Switzerland) and start working part-time in scientific institutions: the P.L. Chebyshev Laboratory of St. Petersburg State University, the St. Petersburg Branch of the V.A. Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the L. Euler International Mathematical Institute. The first group of the bachelor's program "Mathematics" completed the master's program in the 2020/21 academic year. Most of the students have enrolled in the graduate school of our faculty, the POMI RAS, as well as foreign universities (Cambridge, London, Brussels, Jerusalem, Trondheim, etc.). The rest of the graduates work in companies such as "Yandex," "Huawei."
