About the training program

The bachelor's program "Ottoman Studies (Languages, History, and Culture of Ottoman Turkey) (with additional qualification "Translation Specialist")" is aimed at forming a holistic understanding among students of the political-economic, social, cultural, ethno-confessional, linguistic, and other features of Turkey and the countries of the Middle East, along with a comprehensive study of ancient and medieval Eastern languages.

What will they teach you?

  • Языковая подготовка (турецкий, османский, арабский, персидский языки).
  • Дополнительный европейский язык (немецкий, французский, специальный английский (для востоковедов)).
  • В качестве дополнительной квалификации обучающиеся получают квалификацию «Специалист в области перевода».
  • Необходимые профессиональные навыки для ведения научно-исследовательской, педагогической, организационно-управленческой деятельности в области востоковедения.
