About the training program
The bachelor's program "Theory and History of Arts" contains a theoretical and practical component, allowing the graduate to freely navigate general issues of art history, solve specific research tasks, and use the experience gained during excursion, museum, architectural-archaeological, and field practices. A distinctive feature of the program is the understanding of art history as part of historical science during its mastery, which is ensured by the presence of courses in Russian and world history, as well as acquaintance with methods and approaches characteristic of the school of art history that has been forming within the walls of the University for a century and a half.
