About the training program

The bachelor's program "Scandinavian Languages and Literatures (Swedish and Norwegian Languages) (with additional qualifications "Teacher of Foreign Languages and Literatures" and "Specialist in Translation")" is aimed at training specialists of a broad profile in the field of intercultural and interlinguistic communication, translation, teaching of the Norwegian/Swedish language, and the history of Scandinavian literature.

What will they teach you?

  • Выпускники профессионально владеют несколькими иностранными языками, обладают обширными знаниями по культуре соответствующих языков и регионов, глубокими лингвистическими и общегуманитарными знаниями.
  • По завершении программы выпускникам присваиваются дополнительные квалификации «Учитель иностранного языка и литературы» и «Специалист в области перевода».

What do graduates do?

Graduates will receive a thorough general philological and linguistic training in the spirit of the carefully preserved traditions of the St. Petersburg Linguistic School, allowing them not only to continue their education in their chosen field but also to successfully solve specific professional tasks in various fields of activity.
