About the training program
Within the scientific specialty, the student can choose one of two programs: Geophysics (Earth Sciences): Comprehensive and high-quality training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in the field of geophysics. Geophysics (physics): The study of the Earth as a whole: the figure of the Earth, the rotation of the Earth, the own oscillations of the Earth and its nuclei, the movements of the geographical poles, the tides. Physical theories of the evolution of the solid Earth and its shells; Physics of the Earth's outer and inner core, processes in the core, nature and morphology of the Earth's geomagnetic field, movements of the magnetic poles, structure and physical properties of the mantle.
