About the training program

The main educational program of the master's program "Oil and Gas Affairs and Digital Technologies" is aimed at training specialists in the oil and gas field capable of developing methods of analysis and forecasting hydrocarbon production, solving tasks of search and exploration, geological and economic assessment, and development of oil and gas fields using modern digital technologies.

  • Программа направлена на углублённое изучение различных аспектов геологии нефти и газа, экономики нефтегазового сектора с применением новых технологий и цифровых моделей.
  • Особенностью программы является решение прикладных задач, охватывающих широкий спектр от поиска и разведки месторождений углеводородов до технико‑экономической оценки.
  • Программа предусматривает изучение геостатистических методов построения двумерных и трехмерных геологических моделей, оценку неопределенностей и влияние их на прогноз нефтегазоносности.

What do graduates do?

Graduates are prepared to participate in production related to hydrocarbon extraction, in scientific laboratories, in computing centers during scientific research and production work.
