About the training program
The master's educational program "Classical Philology and the Ancient Tradition in World Culture" is aimed at studying a complex of scientific disciplines covering the entire diversity of texts in Greek and Latin, aiming not only to study these languages and literature but also the monuments that have preserved these texts, as well as those aspects of the culture and history of the ancient world that require philological analysis of sources. The program includes linguistics (including historical grammar, lexicology, dialectology), history of literature (including metrics, stylistics, textology), and the reception of classical heritage in Western European and Russian literature.
