The program in scientific specialty 1.4.15 “Solid-State Chemistry” is a postgraduate program designed to train researchers who work with materials at the atomic and molecular levels. Program focus: fundamental and applied research into the structure, properties, and methods of producing solid-phase materials. The program focuses on the relationship between composition, structure, and properties; the development of new functional materials (catalysts, energy materials, sensors, ceramics, and composites); and methods for their characterization.
