The program is aimed at training design engineers and technological engineers capable of developing design and technological documentation for spacecraft engines, as well as 3D models of engines and their components with characteristics specified in the technical specifications, taking into account the requirements of technological feasibility; compiling test programs for the developed products and being able to work with special equipment for conducting product tests; conducting stationary and non-stationary calculations of thermodynamic, hydro-gasodynamic, thermophysical, mechanical, and electromagnetic processes.

What will they teach you?

  • Testing and reliability of electric jet engines
  • Economics and industrial organization
  • Thermocatalytic low-thrust engine
  • Design, engineering, service life of electric jet engines

What do graduates do?

Most disciplines in this direction are mastered under the guidance of practicing teachers from one of the leading enterprises in the field of spacecraft engine development – JSC OKB "Fakel". Practical classes are conducted in modern educational laboratories of I. Kant BFU, on the basis of production sites, research laboratories of the partner enterprise.
