About the training program
The goal of the program is for graduate students to study the nature of light and phenomena during its propagation and interaction with matter in the spectrum from soft X-ray to submillimeter. Creating the basis for new technologies for image registration and processing, information and energy transmission, diagnostics of natural and man-made objects and processes, and the study of fundamental properties of matter. What else is included in the study program: — Optics of anisotropic, moving, and non-stationary media, metal optics; — Formation and processing of optical images, topography; — New principles of constructing optical systems and instruments; — Optical activity of media and structures.
