About the training program
Biotechnology is a field of science about the use of living organisms, cell cultures, and biological processes in production to obtain useful products for the national economy, medicine, and veterinary medicine, purposefully improving the impact on the environment and forming an ecologically benign habitat for humans and animals. While studying in the program, graduate students will acquire a modern level of knowledge and skills in growing microorganism-producers, tissue and cell cultures of plants and animals to obtain biomass, its components, metabolic products, directed biosynthesis of biologically active compounds and other products, and master methods for studying their composition and properties.
