About the training program
The residency program in dermatovenereology is a specialized educational direction for doctors designed to study the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin and venereal diseases. By completing the residency program in dermatovenereology, doctors acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully work with patients suffering from skin and venereal diseases and can apply their competencies in clinical practice.
What do graduates do?
During the training period, residents master the skills of practical work with patients in the polyclinic, day and round-the-clock inpatient facilities of the State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Center for Specialized Types of Medical Care." After completing the training, a certified specialist can: - Work in the primary care (polyclinic) in the specialty: dermatologist-venereologist; head (supervisor) of a structural unit (department, department, office) of a medical organization — dermatologist-venereologist - Undergo further specialization (postgraduate studies) in the chosen specialty
