The mission of the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University:

Tomsk Polytechnic University is the leading technical university in the country. Founded in 1896 as the Tomsk Technological Institute of Practical Engineers of Emperor Nicholas II. It became the first engineering university in the Asian part of Russia. Today, TPU is among the top 10 universities in Russia and the top 400 universities in the world. A key university for Gazprom, Rosatom, Rosneft, and other high-tech companies. Occupies the first place in Russia in the field of oil and gas (international rating). TPU student dormitories
The Tomsk Polytechnic University campus includes 15 student dormitories, where more than 6,000 students live.
There is either Wi-Fi or wired internet TPU everywhere. Two paid laundries are located on the TPU campus.
