At the university, a place in a dormitory is guaranteed to every student from another city in Russia or another country if they have a need. The campus of Tomsk Polytechnic is compactly located in the center of Tomsk. The complex of historical buildings has the informal name "European Quarter." Some of the buildings are architectural monuments of federal and regional significance. Each dormitory has modern classrooms and sports halls. The university has its own sports center with a swimming pool and a stadium.
