Admission as part of a general competition
Standard admission procedure for foreign citizens on general grounds. Admission occurs based on the results of entrance tests or on the basis of education documents.

Admission to the Olympiads
Preferential admission for winners and prize-winners of international olympiads included in the list of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. The right to admission without entrance exams is granted.

- All documents in a foreign language are submitted with a translation into Russian, notarized (including by a consular official), or in another manner established by SPbPU, unless otherwise provided by an international treaty of the Russian Federation. - Educational documents obtained in a foreign state must be legalized, i.e., an "apostille" stamp or consular legalization stamps, unless otherwise provided by an international treaty of the Russian Federation or the legislation of the Russian Federation.
