Its tasks include organizing activities aimed at preserving the forest fund, its rational use, development, and protection of forests and parks

  • Лесная таксация и лесоустройство: проведение инвентаризации лесных ресурсов, оценка объемов древесины, картирование лесных участков и разработка планов лесопользования.
  • Охрана и защита леса: методы борьбы с лесными пожарами, вредителями и болезнями леса, обеспечение лесной безопасности.
  • Лесопромышленный комплекс: основы заготовки и переработки древесины, логистика лесной продукции.
  • Экология и природопользование: понимание роли лесных экосистем, сохранение биоразнообразия, основы экологического мониторинга.
  • Использование ГИС-технологий: применение геоинформационных систем и дистанционного зондирования Земли для управления лесным хозяйством.

Forestry engineer (forest manager, forester): work in forestry departments, organization and control of all types of forestry work. Forest master: direct supervision of work on the forest plot. Forest conservation and protection specialist: work in forest fire services (for example, Aviation Forest Protection) or plant protection inspections. Forest industry enterprise specialist: technologist or manager in wood harvesting and processing companies. State Forest Inspector: monitoring compliance with forest legislation, identifying violations. Researcher / Ecologist: work in research institutes or reserves engaged in the study of forest ecosystems.
