About the training program
The goal of the program is to prepare in-demand specialists in the field of linguistic education, interlinguistic communication, intercultural communication, theoretical and applied linguistics. The educational program "Linguistics" is: the opportunity to obtain a specialty in demand in the modern labor market; a balanced combination of knowledge in the field of theoretical and applied linguistics; two mandatory foreign languages; cooperation with employers (production practices and employment).
What do graduates do?
Areas of activity: Linguistic and didactic activities; translation activities; ensuring intercultural communication in various professional fields; performing the functions of a mediator in the field of intercultural communication. Organizations and enterprises of possible employment: Translation bureaus. International departments. Educational organizations SOO, SPO. Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in a master's program. Possible positions: Technical translator, foreign language teacher, manager of the international department for academic mobility, employees of diplomatic services and international enterprises, linguistic software developer, methodologist, and specialist in children's interface and content
